Why this kolaveri Di...if u know the meaning ..U Got me…

One of the most awaited film of the year in kollywood( in tollywood it would be SS Rajamouli’s EEGA[NAAN EE in Tamil]), 3 has hit the screens today in both the industries i.e.tollywood and kollywood.
With the resounding success of song “why dis kolaveri di”, the movie is touted to be an eagerly awaited film .However let’s see if it has matched to the expectations.

THE PLOT::
Its about how the lead pair Ram(Dhanush) and Janani(Shruti Hassan) fall in love in their early teenage and later turns it to strong relationship with their marriage.
After the marriage ,Shankar(friend of Ram) finds that ram is suffering from a disease called bipolar ,where people react to extremes.So,its now left to Shankar and ram to sort it out without informing Janani about this ,as she would be deeply hurted,if she comes to know about his disorder.
The movie is all about how ram impacts the lives of his girl friend and his best friend.
The story revolves around these three completely justifying the title.
Well frankly saying this story is not new to us ,as the plot resembles siddarth’s movie 180.Infact you would feel 180-part2,making it 360 degrees wholesome tragedy.

However the movie has its moments in the first half, where the romance and the chemistry between the lead pair is outstanding.Inspite of the dragging first half,it is this chemistry,that stood up and made it lively.

Performances::

Dhanush ,shades of mayakkam enna(tamil movie) is visible but the scripts demands..as usual outstanding performance.You will see a new Dhanush in the first hour of the movie with looking quite young and vibrant.

Shruti Hassan ,good meaty role to which she responded with lively performance.

Prabhu,rohini and bhanupriya have their part and justified to them.

Positives::

Direction of Aishwarya Dhanush..she stuck to the script and had presented it much better, unfortunately the script is the weak link…
Infact the chemistry between the lead pair has been outstanding..It treat to watch them..
Dhanush and Shruti hassan’s performances.
Background score of the music director Anirudh.
Most importantly the 50 million Hits song WHY THIS KOLAVERI DI…

Negatives:

Script..More similar to 180 movie..this made all the difference.

THREE….watch it if you are beyond FREE…:P
